Julianne Schnepp works with adults, teens, and families using a strengths-based approach. She values giving her clients a space to feel heard as they navigate in a new direction, away from feeling disconnected, stuck, and isolated.
She uses an integrative approach drawing on therapeutic models such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), narrative therapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). She believes that self-compassion and acceptance are necessary for lasting behavioral change to occur.
Julianne received her MA in Marriage and Family Therapy from Drexel University, and is currently working toward licensure in Virginia as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She has broad training experience having worked with children and adults in outpatient, community-based, and residential mental health care settings. She has worked with clients to address a full range of challenges, such as mood disorders, eating disorders, relationship difficulties, and life transitions.
