Emma is certified in EMDR therapy, which helps clients to heal from painful life experiences and/or trauma/violence. She provides a comfortable, confidential, and non-judgmental place for you to get the help you need. She believes that each person has a solution as unique as their personality, and therefore she finds it important to treat the “whole” person, and each situation uniquely.
She feels that therapy is a collaborative process and encourages clients to provide feedback on what they need and what works for them. She is committed to helping her clients on their own personal journey to becoming healthier and happier, and to establishing more rewarding and fulfilling relationships and behavioral patterns.
As a Counselor in Residence, Emma offers individual, family, and group therapy to adults, children, and adolescents. If you would like to set up an appointment or would like more information, please get in touch by calling MVFTA at 703-768-6240.
